Think and Do’s Vision
That the families benefiting from Think and Do’s services in Egypt will live at peace with God, with themselves and with others, and in good health, and that at least one member of the family will have a steady income; and that the members of these families will be educated, and live in a home where the basic necessities are available.
Mission Statement
Think and Do seeks to achieve the comprehensive development of the target families in marginalizedrural and urbanareas through its experience, expertise, tools, resources and relationships in the spiritual, social and development fields. This will be achieved through direct development and spiritual programmes, and in partnership with local and international organizations.
Think and Do in Brief
Think and Do started in 1995 with the aim of developing poor communities in Egypt and fighting ignorance, poverty and disease, and providing the opportunity for needy people to live with dignity. It offers integrated ministry for the development of the whole person, spiritually, psychologically and materially.
It has a staff of over four hundred, the big majority being field workers serving in deprived areas.
Hundreds of volunteers are also involved in the work, the big majority serving on local committees that help to select the beneficiaries and implement the projects.
